LRCC Offers eBay 101, an Introduction to Online Auctions

Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) is offering for the first time eBay 101, an Introduction to Online Auctions. The new course will be held on Saturday, October 24, and on Saturday, October 31, from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon. The cost of the course is $60 and it will be held at LRCC’s Main Campus on Prescott Hill, Laconia.

"In the first session, students will learn the basics for selling on eBay," says Clay Groves (Conway), a veteran instructor with extensive eBay and teaching experience throughout the State. "In this hands-on course, students will bring something to sell to the first class and they will learn how to assess the value of their item, and how to list it on eBay. During the second class students will learn how to close out their auctions, about internet security, how to collect money, and most importantly, how much fun online auctions can be; students can easily make enough money during the course to make it pay for itself." Basic computer and email skills are necessary for eBay 101.
