Jorgensen and Hamel joined 22 other LRCC Nursing graduates in receiving their pins, a tradition since the days of Florence Nightingale. The 2009 LRCC Nursing class is the fifth and largest in the Laconia College’s history.

"Colleen is a highly decorated veteran who brings critical thinking, compassion, organizational skills, and a great sense of humor to LRCC’s 2009 Nursing class, " says LRCC Nursing Professor, Creedon Carothers (Goffstown). " Ms. Jorgensen currently works in LRGHealthcare’s Emergency Department. Experiences that Colleen had in the U.S. Army prepared her well for duties in the high pressure environment of a hospital emergency room."

"Andria, mother of one child, has worked full-time at LRGHealthcare throughout her education at LRCC," Carothers continues. "She has maintained honors status and has overcome many obstacles to reach her goal of entering the Nursing profession. Colleen and Andria bring a great deal of pride to the Nursing department at LRCC."
