PSNH Energy Rebate
Photo: Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) President, Dr. Mark Edelstein (Laconia-right), receives checks totaling $16,580 (sixteen thousand five hundred eighty dollars) from Public Service of NH Account Executive, Robert Krey (Wolfeboro-left), for installing new energy efficient equipment and lighting as part of LRCC’s $2 million capital projects renovation of the College’s Main Building on Prescott Hill. Overseeing the renovation and replacement of the equipment and lighting was LRCC Plant Maintenance Engineer, Roger Lajoie (Franklin-center).
"Energy efficiency is paramount in today’s economy where every penny must be used well," says Lajoie, a veteran of four years in his position at LRCC. "The PSNH rebates are helpful, but the long-term energy savings is where the College really benefits. Even the new marquee is more energy efficient than the one it replaced."
Any homeowner or business interested in rebates for installing new or replacement energy efficient equipment should view the PSNH website http://www.psnh.com/Energy/ for further information.
