ECE Students Tour Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center

As part of their Math and Science for Young Children course, the students hiked with Program Naturalist, Sarah Dunham (Laconia-not pictured), to see first-hand how children can experience the outdoors.

"The class field trip was an exciting opportunity for my students to learn about a local resource that teaches children to care about the environment," says ECE Program Coordinator, Janet Kibbee (Penacook-not pictured). "The massive, hollowed-out tree provides a creative space for children to explore and build their imaginations. Prescott Farm is a marvelous setting for ECE students to enhance their learning."
