Chancellor's Award of Excellence Recipients

Masse received the Service Award based upon his work as Alumni, Retention & Outreach Specialist at LRCC. Lavallee received the Excellence in Teaching Award as LRCC Computer Technologies Department Head and Energy Services and Technology Department Chair as well as for her outstanding teaching skills.

"It’s a real honor to win the Chancellor’s Award of Service Excellence at LRCC," says Masse, a graduate of Plymouth State University (PSU) before joining LRCC’s staff. "It’s especially rewarding coming from my colleagues, who keep me motivated and challenged to do as much as I can." In addition to his work in Student Services, Masse serves as an adjunct professor in Arts and Sciences at LRCC and formerly taught at PSU.

"I was really surprised to receive the Chancellor’s Award for teaching," says Lavallee, the first Gilford Middle-High School Valedictorian and LRCC’s first Community Education Valedictorian. "It is a real pleasure and honor to receive the Award for doing the job I love." Lavallee is a Doctoral Candidate at Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
