Outreach Counselor Ralph Dixon Joins LRCC Staff

Photo: Lakes Region Community College’s (LRCC) new Outreach Counselor, Ralph Dixon (Tilton), joins the College’s staff. Dixon recently retired from Belmont High School (BHS) having served as Guidance Director for 34 years with the exception of a period of two years where he acted as BHS Assistant Principal.

"We are elated to have the experience and expertise of Ralph Dixon at LRCC," says LRCC Academic Affairs Vice President, Tom Goulette (Belmont), member of the Shaker Regional School Board, and a long-term friend of Dixon’s. "Who could better relate to high school guidance counselors across the State than Ralph Dixon?"

Dixon also coached BHS boys’ JV soccer, co-founded the girls’ soccer team, and has been active with the drama and outing clubs. As BHS Alpine Ski Coach from 1987 to 1989, Dixon’s teams captured State championships and he was named NH Alpine Ski Coach of the Year in 1987.
