LRCC Nursing Students Raise $4,500 for Pinning Ceremony

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," says Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Senior Nursing Class Vice President, Cheryl Miller (Franklin). "As a result of the benevolence of area businesses, the LRCC Senior Nursing Class was able to raise $4,500 to go towards the May Nurse Pinning Ceremony, a long-term tradition for graduating nurses in the nursing profession. The LRCC Nursing students worked very hard to sell the raffle tickets and had a lot of fun drawing the winning prizes."

Central New Hampshire businesses donating to the LRCC raffles were Meadowbrook, Fred Caruso at Northeast Radio, Tanger Outlet Mall, Shaw’s Supermarkets, Vista Foods, Fratello’s Ristorante, Pizza Hut, Jon’s Roast Beef, Tilton Diner, Computer Magic, Baron’s Major Brands, Kohl’s, Chili’s, Hermanos Cocina Mexicana, and Lakeside Restaurant. The total value of products and services donated was $800.

LRCC’s Nurse Pinning Ceremony will be held at Church’s Landing, Mill Falls, Meredith on Thursday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. There will be a formal dinner following the Sixth Annual LRCC Nurse Pinning Ceremony for graduating Nursing students.
