New Distance Learning Coordinator @ LRCC

Lavallee has been appointed to the position of Distance Learning Coordinator to further promote distance learning opportunities available at the Laconia College. Lavallee has been asked to develop new courses,further enhance faculty and student training for online classes, and recruit new adjunct professors to teach online.

"Distance learning technology allows LRCC to offer courses taught by highly qualified faculty in specialized areas that we would not normally have access to," says Lavallee, who is working towards her Ph.D. in Information Technology with a specialty in Using Technology in Education. "Distance learning and its technology, present and future, are vital parts of the continuing evolution of higher education."
